Tourism in Puerto Rico fell to a higher and faster level than in the United States due to the coronavirus emergency, said Brad Dean, CEO of the Puerto Rico Marketing Organization (DMO), Discover Puerto Rico.

Dean pointed out that the decrease in occupation was 71%, while in the United States it has been 56%.

On the other hand, the executive director of the Tourism Company, Carla Campos, mentioned that it will not be until the fall that they will begin to promote travel to Puerto Rico.
