Washington – The Federal Department of Housing (HUD) has announced that it will primarily deliver $ 91.2 million to municipalities in Puerto Rico in funds directed to community development programs and assistance to low-income people.

Most of the funds, which are around $ 56.3 million, will be distributed through the traditional community development program (CDBG) , as the resident commissioner in Washington, Jenniffer González , was notified.

Among the municipalities that will receive funds are San Juan ($ 7.05 million); Bayamón ($ 2.22 million); Carolina ($ 1.8 million); Caguas ($ 1.7 million); Mayaguez ($ 1.34 million); Arecibo ($ 1.33 million); Toa Baja ($ 1.08 million); and Guaynabo ($ 908,414).
